Your law school experience should extend far beyond the lecture hall.

At University of Arizona Law, students have numerous and varied opportunities to put theory into practice. In addition to operating a wide array of clinics, we also weave meaningful experiences throughout the curriculum.

Many of our classes involve simulated or “real-world” experiences, and a wide variety of trial advocacy, negotiation, mediation and interviewing courses help students apply their knowledge. We also offer a number of applied learning opportunities, including externships, clerkships, workshops, seminars, and ad hoc placements.

Our students are mentored by nationally respected clinical faculty and experienced practicing lawyers.

Every Arizona Law student who wants to participate in a clinic is able to. In fact, almost all students have worked in multiple clinic, internship/externship, or law-related volunteer placements by the time they graduate.
