The Native American Law Students Association hosts an annual moot court competition. The location of the competition varies from year to year.

Prerequisites
National NALSA establishes the basic eligibility requirements. Because those vary from year to year, students should consult the official rules on the National NALSA website. In addition to those requirements, students who are on academic probation are not eligible to compete.

Timeline
See competition website for dates for this academic year. Traditionally, the problem is released in the middle of the fall semester, the brief is due in January, and oral argument rounds take place in February.

Expenses
The College of Law's Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program covers reasonable travel expenses for one two-student team. Additional teams may participate, but those teams must find their own funding. Some possible sources of funding include grants from the Graduate and Professional Student Council, the Associated Students of The University of Arizona, and the Student Bar Association.
