Arizona Court of Appeals, Division II to Hold Virtual 2021 Court Session at University of Arizona Law

As part of its ongoing public education effort, Division Two of the Arizona Court of Appeals invites members of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law to view live virtual oral arguments during a special court session at the on April 7.   

When: April 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM MST 

Where: This case will be broadcast using the WebEx platform, not Zoom. Please allow approximately five minutes to load the WebEx platform before logging on to the arguments.  

The WebEx link will be sent to registrants on April 6.

The case to be argued is: 

State of Arizona v. Shannon Paul Zuck, Case#: 2 CA-CR 2019-0130 
Summary:  Zuck appeals from his convictions for sexual exploitation of a minor, challenging the denial of his motions to suppress and the granting of a jury instruction permitting the jury to "draw the inference" that actual minors were depicted in the illicit media at issue. He also challenges the court's denial of his request for a hearing pursuant to Franks v. Delaware, 438 U.S. 154 (1978).
