“I encountered some of the most compassionate and dedicated professors and mentors,” says Leonard Mukosi, IPLP SJD candidate. “In a world where individualism seems to be the dominant practice, people do not help each other, they do not mentor each other, but being here changed my life."

“I realized that I did not need to go to law school to do legal work. There are other things that you can do within the field that aren’t being a lawyer,” says Encinas Garcia. “There are many things that you can do that are just as helpful, just as valid, just as rewarding.” 

Daniel Bowman knew he wanted to stay in Arizona and was drawn to University of Arizona Law after learning about the law school’s strong commitment to public interest, the opportunities available for immigration law students, and its small class sizes.
