Bryan Schwartz Joins University of Arizona Law Legal Writing Program
The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Clinical Professor of Law Bryan Schwartz to its esteemed legal writing program, currently recognized among the top legal-writing programs in the country by U.S. News and World Report

We are a cohesive, collaborative group in the legal writing department, and Professor Schwartz already feels like part of the team,” said Director of Legal Writing Susie Salmon. “He not only brings a wealth of recent experience as a trial lawyer but also demonstrates a passionate commitment to legal writing education and to training future lawyers who are deft, ethical, and compassionate communicators. He also demonstrates the student-centered ethos that's so essential to our law school's culture; I'm excited for our students to learn from him, and I know they will find him a thoughtful, creative, and knowledgeable professor and a supportive mentor.”
Schwartz will teach Legal Research, Analysis, & Communication II.
Prior to joining University of Arizona Law, he served as an adjunct professor at the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law and as a visiting professor at George Washington Law School. Before teaching, Schwartz dedicated several years to public service, serving as a criminal prosecutor at the Clark County District Attorney's Office, and began his legal career with a clerkship for Chief Justice Mark Gibbons on the Nevada Supreme Court.
His expertise extends to his scholarship, where he specializes in emerging issues in criminal law, legal writing, and oral advocacy.
He is a graduate of the University of Redlands and University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.
